September 19, 2013 (Raleigh, N.C.) Monday September 23rd marks the grand opening of the Pack Shop, a new retail subsidiary of the NC State Bookstores. Located at Wolf Ridge Apartments on Centennial Campus, the Pack Shop will carry a wide range of Wolfpack gear and merchandise, including apparel, gifts and school supplies, as well as snacks and other convenience items. It will be beneficial to students, faculty, and visitors that spend most or all of their time on Centennial Campus.
The grand opening will feature a discount of 25% off all items in the store for the first two days of operation; shoppers will also receive a free promotional Frisbee with their purchases of $5 of more. The sale is intended to encourage students and other Wolfpack fans to visit the new shop and explore what it has to offer.
The anticipation surrounding the Pack Shop opening is a precursor to what will come when the main campus Bookstore, temporarily located in Harrelson Hall, opens the doors to its new home in the Talley Student Union in 2014.
“Our students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans on Centennial Campus have NC State purchasing needs,” said Alex Barnett, Marketing and Promotions manager for Campus Enterprises, “Pack Shop meets those needs.”
Pack Shop purchases will directly support the students, as proceeds are returned to the University in the form of need- and merit-based scholarships and financial aid.
The Pack Shop and NC State Bookstores are a service of Campus Enterprises, the lead division of retail and hospitality at NC State University.
