NC State NC State Dining’s Dietitian to Speak at FARE Conference

|

RALEIGH, NC (June 12, 2014)—Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) will be hosting their 7th Annual Conference, Foodservice Evolution, on June 16-18 in Grapevine, Texas with NC State Dining of NC State’s own Dietitian, Lisa Eberhart, hosting an educational session on nutrition-related topics. This annual conference gathers many foodservice executives from across the country for a unique and high-quality experience—an experience that fosters the formation of business connections, encourages leadership management, and builds face-to-face relationships of foodservice operators from all channels and suppliers. The main goal of Foodservice Evolution is to “redefine how suppliers and operators look at the total foodservice industry.”

Eberhart will be speaking on the steady rise in demand for healthy food choice options. Her education session titled “Gluten-Free and Other Diets Head Mainstream” examines how foodservice operators and suppliers can be more prepared to handle this growing demand in ways that will both benefit the consumer and be profitable to the industry. Eberhart will also discuss how allergen-based eating patterns influence menu options, as well as how to satisfy the needs of a consumer requesting allergen-free food choices. Along with her presentation, Eberhart will moderate a roundtable covering the topic of college and university foodservice.

Eberhart, NC State Dining’s award-winning dietitian, was recently named Outstanding Dietitian of the Year by N.C. Dietetic Association and Dedicated and Deserving Dietitian by Today’s Dietitian Magazine. Her experience and accomplishments make her a standout speaker with extensive and credible knowledge in the foodservice industry.

Other speakers at Foodservice Evolution include 43rd President George W. Bush, celebrity chef, Robert Irvine, Univision’s Vice President, Pete Filiaci, and many other executive professionals from the foodservice industry.
