Talley Student Center Groundbreaking August 16

August  1, 2011 (Raleigh, N.C. ) – The ceremonial groundbreaking of the Talley Student Center Renovation & Addition on the N.C. State University campus will take place Tuesday, August 16 at noon on the Talley Plaza.  Talley Student Center is located at 2610 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, N.C.   All are invited.

Speakers include Chancellor Randy Woodson; Marycobb Randall, past president, Student Centers Board of Directors; Chandler Thompson, student body president; and Jonathon Smith, president, Student Centers Board of Directors.

The groundbreaking will be followed by a reception featuring NC State Howling Cow Ice Cream.

The renovation and addition is expected to be completed by late 2014. The bright, open facility will feature three times as much space as the existing student center and house many Student Affairs organizations including ARTS NC STATE, new dining facilities, the NC State Bookstore, and select retail operations for the convenience of students.
