October 21, 2010 (Raleigh, NC)—Talley Student Center Addition and Renovation architects, Duda/Paine, will host an open house on Tuesday, November 9 at 5:30 p.m.

“ We want to invite students, faculty, and staff to learn more about the design features of the new Talley Student Center,” said Marycobb Randall, president of the University Student Center’s Board of Directors. “We are completing the schematic design, and it’s a very exciting project that will benefit students for generations to come.”

The project will begin next summer with the demolition of the NC State Bookstores. The first phase will be completed and ready for occupancy by late 2013, with the entire project completed by late 2014.

Duda/Paine is led by Turan Duda, design partner, and Jeffrey Paine, managing partner.  Duda, lead design principal for the project, is an alumnus of NC State University.  The award-winning firm has an international portfolio of corporate, commercial and institutional commissions since its inception in 1997.

Transportation will be provided from Talley Student Center at 5:00 p.m.  Duda/Paine is located at 333 Liggett Street in Durham.
