Campus Enterprises Names Student Centers Operations Director

February 7, 2010 (Raleigh, NC)— Tim Hogan has been named director of student centers at NC State University, it was announced by Dan Adams, associate vice chancellor of Campus Enterprises.

Hogan will oversee operations of the Talley and Witherspoon Student Centers, as well as housekeeping and maintenance at Price Music Center and Thompson Hall. He also will also be closely involved in the Talley Addition and Renovation project, scheduled to begin in Fall 2011.

Hogan brings 16 years of experience in student center management, most recently as associate director, Student/University Center at Georgia State University. His strengths include developing operations that are effective, efficient, and student focused, as well as cultivating a team approach to operating a successful student center. He earned his B.S. in mathematics education and a Master’s in higher education from the Ohio University in Athens, Oh.

“Tim brings extensive experience in student center/student union operations and has served in a number of volunteer positions with the Association of College Unions International,” said Adams. “We are pleased to have him on our staff.”

Campus Enterprises was established in 2009 within the office of Finance and Business to comprise the university’s retail and hospitality organizations, including NC State Dining, NC State Bookstores, University Trademark Licensing, the Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Student Center Operations (Witherspoon, Thompson, Price and Talley), and the AllCampus Card. It is currently leading campus-wide efforts that include the $4.4 million Atrium Food Court renovation and the $120 million Talley Student Center renovation and addition, among others.
