Marco-Dane Raymond

Student Employee
Student Ambassador Program

Marco-Dane’s Nomination:
“Marco has been a part of the ambassador team since this past summer. He brings his great personality, enthusiasm, and tenacity to everything he works on for us! Recently, he has stepped into a new role within the team to maintain our social media accounts. Within just a few weeks of getting started he has continued to gain a steady amount of followers, get the attention of the official PCJ Instagram account, and overall engage with many of our student employees, whether behind the camera or in person preparing for his next post.

Marco has taken on his new role that has surpassed my expectations. He is excited about his projects and does this all while managing his primary job with the c-stores. Just last week he was going above and beyond to get the right angle for his latest posts. (if only I could submit a picture to show you) Marco is a crucial part of our team as he helps me do my job better by allowing me to focus on other moving parts of our team, along with being a great team member. I don’t have to doubt for a second he’s working to get the job done.”

Alvin Bryant

Temp Employee
Case Dining Hall

Alvin’s Nomination:
“Twice this week have seen Alvin go above and beyond with service. One day at Breakfast while making french toast and a student was in a hurry he saw where they were sitting and ran some over to them with syrup. The student was beside themselves with JOY that he did it for them. Besides this instance he has a consistent smile and drive to do his best. During lunch he made a grilled cheese for student that wanted one as it wasn’t our sandwich of the day but saw a chance to make a good impression for dining. Thanks ALVIN!”

Claire Barrett

Permanent Employee
Talley Pavilions

Claire’s Nomination:
“Claire is such an outstanding employee of NC State Dining. She has really stepped up to her newer managerial role at Talley Pavilions, and is consistently going above and beyond the call of duty for her job description. Claire takes all customer feedback very seriously, and makes a conscientious effort to make it right. When it comes to food allergies, she is always making sure all orders are handled correctly and with care, and follows up with the nutrition team to ensure all Talley staff have been allergy trained. She works so hard each day and we all notice- great job, Claire!

Claire is always so organized and on top of things. She is always looking for improvements and actively supports ways to make NC State Dining better. She treats everyone with so much patients and respect. We all really admire her excellent communication and strong work ethic.”
