A couple general updates this week in addition to the past and next 7 days schedule.
Study Rooms Available in Talley
With the fire separation walls complete on the 3rd floor, the study rooms and lounge (formerly CSLEPS, Campus Activities and Parents & Families Services offices) have been reopened. There are 6 rooms plus lounge areas available for individual or group study on a first come first served basis. Building Hours are Sat-Sun 9am to 10pm and Mon-Fri 7:30am-10pm.
Egress Pattern Shift on North Side
With the opening of the new temporary egress corridor on the 2nd floor and completion of the fire separation walls on the north side, Emergency Egress to the North has changed. Signage will direct you to the proper location, however, please note these changes in your surroundings as you use existing Talley.
Reduced Construction Work Hours
Contractors will begin a reduced work schedule Monday, April 30th to Thursday, May 10th (last day of finals) for the heavy equipment. Work hours will be 9am-8pm and contractors will resume the 7am start Friday May 11th. After graduation and residence hall move out on May 12th, contractors will begin summer hours.
Work includes: Excavation and grading throughout the site, soil shoring (support), demolition, and auger cast piles (drilling and concrete pumping of 20 piles/day).
