Pedestrian Traffic
Fencing around the site should not change much over the summer and the pedestrian paths will continue to be open as they have been this semester. There will be significant construction traffic at the entrance by Alexander/Price and to create a safer environment we ask for your assistance. Please use the South side of Cates Avenue (between Tucker-Owen & FYC and Talley-Carmichael) so as to avoid crossing directly in front of the construction entrance gates.
Commencement Work & Summer Construction
Construction resumes normal work hours tomorrow (Friday 5/11) at 7am. Summer work hours will be primarily “sun up to sun down” though night work will be needed from time to time.

1. Began East (by Food Court) separatation walls
North of Talley – West Side
(Future site of Dock, Dining, Senate Chambers & Arts NC State)
1. Continued the concrete wall demolition outside of the Wolves Den
2. Continued site grading and shoring
3. Began the auger cast pile installation
North of Talley – East Side
(Future site of Dining, Ballroom and Meeting Rooms)
1. Continued site grading and shoring
Other Areas
1. Completed work and paved at Talley carriage way (Cates Ave.) at MH#81
