What a week! Power was out today (Thursday) due to a non construction related issue. A big thanks to ALL the Student Centers Staff (and others from across campus) who have worked hard to get things back up and running. Its tough to maintain a building that is falling apart while getting excited for the new building on the other side of the wall.
In construction related news, crews are putting the final touches on the 2nd floor elevated deck as they prepare to pour the concrete Saturday Night into Sunday (more on that below). This will allow for steel to begin (tentatively set to begin the process September 17th). Sunday afternoon once crews finish with the deck, noise level will return to Yellow for all. Crews will again continue the backfill process throughout the site starting Monday and intermittent vibration expected.
