January 25, 2012 (Raleigh, N.C.) – Winter weather is currently headed toward the Triangle, and NC State Dining and the NC State Bookstores are now operating under their severe weather policies.
DINING SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: Feeding our students is always our top priority, and University Dining will make every effort to operate on a regular schedule. In the event we cannot staff all units, we will open and/or maintain operation of critical units first (Fountain Dining Hall, for example) and bring more online as staffing allows. Students can be guaranteed that there will be somewhere to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We monitor conditions throughout the day and make plans to open and close units based on weather and travel conditions; therefore, it’s important to check our website , Twitter and Facebook for the most current schedule before walking to a particular venue. BOOKSTORE SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: The Bookstore will close according to the University severe weather schedule. For example, if the university closes at 1 p.m. for severe weather, the Bookstore will also close. For the latest reports, follow the bookstore on Facebook and Twitter.
