NC State Celebrates World Vegetarian Day at Campus Dining Hall

National Vegetarian Day, NC State, NC State DiningSeptember 27, 2013 (Raleigh, N.C.) – In celebration of World Vegetarian Day and Fresh Start Mondays, NC State Dining is collaborating with the National Peanut Board at Case Dining Hall to offer students an all-day peanut butter bar. Six peanut butters varieties from Peanut Butter & Co and a range of fruity toppings will be available. A National Peanut Board representative and a local peanut farmer will also be at Case dining hall to provide information and education about this versatile and nutritious legume.

Additionally, Clark Dining Hall will host Chef Jay Z from Indian Harvest to prepare vegetarian dishes at lunch.
