The Carolinas Chapter of the Southern Association of Student Employment Administrators is excited to host our first ever Un-Conference!
Carolinas Student Employment Un-Conference
Friday, June 15, 2018
NC State University | Raleigh, NC
Who’s it for?
Anyone who works with student employees at colleges and universities in North and South Carolina. Our group includes:
- Financial Aid officers
- Career Services professionals
- Human Resources administrators
- Student Development specialists
….and anyone else who cares about student employee success
What’s an un-conference?
Do you know how the best part of conferences is often the Q&A after the presentation when everyone in the room starts to share questions and ideas? Well, an un-conference is basically that part!
An un-conference is unlike a traditional conference in that there are no formal presenters. Instead, we learn from each other. Topics for discussion will be decided by the group at the beginning of the day, and then there will be breakout sessions for roundtable discussions.
This will be a great opportunity for networking and casual learning. Come meet your colleagues and discuss what matters to you in the field of student employment.
