RALEIGH, NC (Dec. 18, 2020) – Fans and alumni of NC State University and UNC-Chapel Hill may be rivals, but that doesn’t stop strong bonds from forming. From now until Jan. 18, 2021 both schools are asking fans to share your best #TwoSchoolsOneRoof stories on social media for a chance to be featured and win prizes.
Maybe you bleed Wolfpack red but have a spouse who was Tar Heel born and bred. Or maybe you’re a student at Carolina with a best friend who goes to State. When the two largest public universities in North Carolina are separated by just 25 miles of highway, rivalry relationships are inevitable.
Wolfpack Outfitters and UNC Student Stores are teaming up with Champion, Logo Brands and the trademarks and licensing offices at UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State to find the best stories of family and friendship between Wolfpack and Tar Heels.
To enter, share your stories, photos, or videos on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube with the hashtag #TwoSchoolsOneRoof by Jan. 18, 2021. First, second and third place winners will receive Champion and Logo Brand prize packs featuring Carolina and NC State merchandise, along with gift cards to each school’s bookstore. Additional entries will be randomly selected to win bookstore gift cards.
CONTEST RULES
All entries must be submitted using the hashtag #TwoSchoolsOneRoof. Entries must be submitted on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or YouTube. Submissions are accepted until midnight, Jan. 18, 2021. Entries received after the contest period will not be eligible. Multiple submissions are allowed. Winners will be announced on Jan. 23, 2021.
Winners will be notified by direct message. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five days of the date of drawing (Jan. 18), another winner may be chosen.
Prizes are subject to change depending on availability. No substitutions allowed. Prizes cannot be exchanged or returned for any value, including but not limited to cash, credit, store credit or other merchandise. Tax form and affidavit may be requested upon winning.
