NC State’s Rave! Events has reorganized into two customer-facing operations to better serve campus and outside partners looking to reserve space, plan meetings and events, and/or book catering.
The catering function will retain the Rave brand name, i.e. Rave! Catering, while the event and support function will become Student Centers Events.
Student Centers Events will focus its expertise on assisting clients with space reservations, optimal room configurations, A/V support and other critical support functions at Talley Student Union, Witherspoon Student Center, and the Duke Energy Hall at Hunt Library, as well as outdoor locations including Stafford Commons, the Brickyard, and Wolf Plaza, among others.
Rave! Catering will focus its expertise on providing food and beverage needs within these spaces as well as other locations on campus as requested by the customer.
What won’t change is the close coordination between the two groups for customers who need both event and catering services.
“We are the same people, just working differently,” said Jeff Halliburton, senior director for auxiliary services. “In fact, we expect this new structure will enable us to bring an even higher level of service and expertise to the campus.”
