NC State is celebrating International Housekeepers and Environmental Building Services Week by recognizing the building services team that keeps the Student Centers clean, safe and welcoming.
The team includes the Facilities Enhancement Team (Housekeeping) and Environmental Building Services (Loading Dock and EBS Maintenance). Together 20-24 staff members provide nearly 20 hours of coverage seven days a week. Their work ensures that every part of the Student Centers stays well-maintained from entrances and elevators to offices and restrooms.
This daily attention makes it possible for thousands of students, faculty, staff and visitors to enjoy spaces that are comfortable and ready for use. The team also supports hundreds of student events each year by preparing spaces and keeping them in top condition before, during and after programs. Whether refreshing restrooms, deep cleaning spaces or clearing high-traffic areas, they play a vital role in campus life.

International Housekeepers and Environmental Services Week is held annually during the second full week of September (14 – 20).
