Bragaw C-Store to be open 24-hours beginning August 15
July 14, 2011 (Raleigh, NC) — Bragaw C-Store, located in Bragaw Hall on west campus, will be open 24-hours, 7 days a week beginning August 15, 2011. Bragaw C-Store will be NC State University’s first 24-hour foodservice operation.
NC State Dining made the decision to add a 24-hour option based on student feedback from focus groups conducted in spring 2011, who wanted a safe, on-campus option to get food between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.. Faculty and staff who arrive on campus in the early hours will also benefit from the new option.
The convenience store will implement the all-night operational hours on a trial basis for the fall semester and will be made permanent in the spring if enough people use it.
“We look forward to operating on a trial basis and expect that the location will be a popular late-night destination for on-campus residents,” said Jennifer Gilmore, director of marketing for Campus Enterprises. “If the demand is met, NC State Dining may consider opening other 24-hour locations.”
