We have another big week of milestones this week with the first elevated deck slab being poured. This is part one of two, more information about these major pours is below in the “Next 7 Days.” Here is a picture from this morning (8/16) of this week’s progress showing the elevated deck work.
Schedule: Past 7 Days (August 9 – August 15)
North of Talley – West Side
Future site of Dock, Dining, Senate Chambers & Arts NC State
1. Continued concrete wall installation
2. Continued the elevated deck formwork and reinforcing
3. Continued foundation waterproofing
North of Talley – East Side
Future site of Dining, Ballroom and Meeting Rooms
1. Continued pile cap installation
2. Continued the concrete walls
Schedule: Next 7 Days (August 16 – August 22)
Construction Noise will vary this week due to the major concrete pours.
Saturday Evening to midday Sunday will be RED, Remainder of the week will be Yellow.
North of Talley – West Side

1. Place the first elevated deck – Saturday Night
- This will be a night pour starting 10pm on Saturday (8/18) to mid morning Sunday (8/19). The second portion of this deck is tentatively scheduled for Friday September 7th and Saturday September 8th.
