If you have been following along with our live cams you have not been able to see the work going on in the 4th section of steel on the east side up against Talley. However, if you take a walk between Reynolds and Talley you can see the work up close. We have enjoyed talking with many of you as you stop and take in the view. The picture above is from this morning as crews began to place the 4th floor on the east side.
TALLEY TABLE TALK – TUESDAY!
We are busy putting the final touches on this semester’s Talley Table Talk themed“The Big Reveal” which occurs Tuesday, October 23rd from 10am-10pm in the Talley Lobby. Stop by and take part in the festivities. We will have students from the Student Centers Board of Directors on hand throughout the day in addition to various staff members available to answer questions and provide information about the project.
On Tuesday, we will be revealing Dining Venues, logos and concepts including the official announcement of TWO new branded concepts in New Talley. One of them is the first on a University Campus. We will have on hand some furniture samples selected for the building, as well as enlarged building maps. Wolf TV will be on location for a 30 minute live stream and drawing at noon. We hope you will join us for this exciting event!

3. Continued concrete work at the tower

Noise has moved back to Yellow. For some Alexander Residents noise may be RED next week due to backfilling against the building.
North of Talley – West Side

1. Continue the foundation backfill at Alexander
- Crews anticipate starting Monday or Tuesday with backfilling against Alexander. Noise will be RED for Alexander due to the potential for heavy vibration.
2. Continue structural steel
3. Continue loading dock wall pile caps
4. Begin 2nd floor topping concrete slabs (ramps, steps, etc)
5. Remove the Precast facia at Stewart Theatre roof level
** upcoming work: Noise will move back to Red on October 29th when fireproofing of the steel begins. The pump truck will be stationed at the bottom of the service drive next to Alexander. **
