Social Media Content Creation Team
Campus Enterprises Mission: Campus Enterprises is NC State University’s division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Each department is dedicated to providing service excellence, value, and enrichment of the student experience in support of academic success.
Purpose: Campus Enterprises regularly relies on the use of student content creators and models for its social media, print, and web marketing. In this position, the content creator/model will work with the marketing managers and student marketing assistants to help plan and execute social media for the bookstore, dining, and student centers.
Compensation: Tier 3 at $13.00 per hour.
In addition, students who are eligible will receive longevity raises based on years of service within Campus Enterprises.
Location: Talley Student Union
Work Schedule: This position is considered “as needed ” and requires work 5-10 hours a week, depending on the needs.

Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- One two-hour strategy session in August and early January to brainstorm ideas and develop the framework of social calendars for the various areas.
- One 45-minute in-person meeting each week to review the calendar and determine who will do what that week.
- Depending on the need, creators/models would gather the content and funnel it to the marketing manager or marketing coordinator for scheduling and posting.
- Creators/models also serve as a sounding board for managers regarding offerings, i.e., clothing, food, services, etc.
- Creators/models are also trained to answer questions and assist with tabling and special events as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Current NC State University student with a flexible schedule
- Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in social media and marketing and be willing to be in front of the camera and interact with others.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, student employee orientation, and training sessions
