Life is sweet at Yates Mill Bakery, NC State’s gourmet bakery, where the culinary staff never fails to meet an epicurean challenge. That may explain the recent spate of awards the team has picked up around town.
On March 9 the bakery took top honors in the “Best Dessert” category at the Tammy Lynn Center’s premier fundraising event, “A Taste of the Triangle.” Yates Mill entered its Lemon Mousse Cake with Lemon and its Mascarpone and Parisian Macaroon into the competition. Read more.
