If you’re planning to dine at Case Dining Hall, Wolf Village C-Store, D-Cafe and the Oval (weekend only), be sure to bring your Wolfpack One Card, debit card or credit card as these locations will no longer take cash as of August 17, 2019.
“Fewer people are carrying cash, and patrons of these locations especially are using it so infrequently that the cost associated with delivering and returning cash each day is not justified,” said Kevin Howen, business manager for NC State Dining. “We look for efficiencies that help keep our meal plan prices low, and this was just one of many ways we can be good stewards.”
NC State Dining is piloting this program to see how it is received and will use this information to inform future decisions regarding locations with similar payment patterns.
