This was extremely appreciated as it was my next stop after coffee.”

Angie’s Nomination:
“I’m a professor in MAE, and on Saturday, my family and I helped move my daughter into Valentine Commons apartments. It was hot, difficult work carrying her things up eight flights of stairs. Driving and parking was a nightmare, and we were all a bit sad that she was moving out. We walked through the heat and humidity to Fountain Dining Hall, where Angie Jeffreys greeted us and was as pleasant and kind as she could possibly be. When I paid with my faculty ID, she was genuinely interested to hear what it’s like teaching in the same department as my daughter’s major. She really injected a much-needed dose of friendliness and kindness… we appreciate it!”
