The NC State Student Centers is instituting a student advisory council for the 2022-2023 academic year. The council will aim to be a driving force to improve the daily student experience within the NC State Student Centers.
“Our advisory council will offer suggestions, recommendations, and feedback related to our operation from a student perspective,” said Tim Hogan, director of the NC State Student Centers. “We want them to serve as advocates for the student voice in order to provide advice and feedback to our leadership team regarding daily operations of the Student Centers. Our hope is that this feedback will inform decisions that will benefit our student community.”
According to Hogan, the council will be made up of 7-10 students who will meet on a monthly basis to create an open and inclusive environment between council members, formulate communication between faculty/staff and students, and develop tangible suggestions and objectives for the Student Centers.
Applications for membership on the student advisory council will be available in April with the goal of having the council in place for the 2022-2023 academic year.
