NC State’s official student store – Wolfpack Outfitters -is experiencing a return to normal after two years of impacts from COVID-19. Three fall products are leading the way, especially with a promising football season underway.
On September 1, Wolfpack Outfitters enjoyed a successful launch of the Adidas Ultraboost 1.0 NC State shoe, the second annual Wolfpack shoe from Adidas.
The Ultraboost shoe’s upper is made with a high-performance yarn that contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.
Limited sizes are still available, with more than 80 percent of the stock being sold in the first two weeks since the launch.
For the third year in a row, NC State Stores and Wolfpack Outfitters have partnered with Pack United, a registered student organization, to sell a commemorative t-shirt. Pack United is composed of NC State Student-Athletes working to create a more inclusive community through education, awareness and action. Pack United week is September 12-17, culminating at the NC State Football game versus Texas Tech on Saturday.
Power Sound of South
Two updated Power Sound of the South t-shirts have recently been launched by Wolfpack Outfitters. Featuring the official PSOTS logos, which were developed in-house by NC State’s UCOMM department, each of the shirts features a three-color design.
Both shirt designs are available online, in-store at the Talley location of Wolfpack Outfitters and at Carter-Finley stadium during home NC State football games.
