Have you ever had a great idea for a t-shirt design? Ever walked through Wolfpack Outfitters and thought about having your own designs for sale? Now is your chance! Submit your design now through January 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., and you could win a $250 shopping spree (via gift card) to Wolfpack Outfitters + FIVE shirts!
The top five shirts will be selected by a panel of judges and voted on by the NC State community, alumni and fans between January 26 and February 2 at go.ncsu.edu/tshirtcontest.
The first runner-up will receive a $100 gift card to Wolfpack Outfitters.
The second runner-up will receive a $75 gift card to Wolfpack Outfitters.
The winning shirt will be available for purchase in-store and online at shop.ncsu.edu.
SUBMIT DESIGNS BY JANUARY 23 AT 5:00 P.M. VIA THE ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION FORM IN THE SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN SECTION BELOW.
GUIDELINES:
- The contest is open to NC State students enrolled in the Spring 2023 semester.
- Designs should be single-sided. Design size can be as small as across the chest, to as large as a full panel print (12×17)
- By submitting a design for consideration, you confirm that to the best of your knowledge, the design you are submitting is your own original work and that no other persons or parties can claim ownership. Art created using artificial intelligence may not be submitted.
- Any pre-existing logos used must be from NC State University only. Logos from other schools are not allowed. Approved logos are included in the Template section of the contest.
- Up to three designs may be submitted per person.
- Designs should be submitted electronically via the google form linked below.
Original design files should be labeled with your first and last name. If you are submitting more than one design please add a 1, 2 or 3 to your file name.
(Ex. LastName_FirstName_2) - Please submit all Ai, Ps, EPS, and PDF’s with your design layers intact.
- Hard copies of hand-drawn art are also acceptable and can be turned in at the Design Den inside of Wolfpack Outfitters.

Specific Trademark Highlights:
- WOLFPACK is one word
- NC State, not “NCSU”
- The BLOCK S cannot be used as an ‘S’ in a word.
- Spirit marks may NOT be edited in any way.
- Coaches and player likenesses may NOT be used.

JUDGING AND VOTING:
A panel of judges will narrow the submissions to our five finalists and put them out to vote by the NC State community.
Semi-finalists will be selected based on the following criteria:
- How well the design/slogan reflects NC State University.
- Whether the design/slogan is eye-catching, powerful and unique.
- Whether the design/slogan is in keeping with the university’s code of conduct.
- Compliance with NC State trademark licensing regulations (https://trademarks.ncsu.edu/home/primary-marks/)
