Chris Dunham, currently the Wolfpack One Card director of operations, has been named director of information technology for the NC State Campus Enterprises division.
Dunham, who joined the division in 2011, will be responsible for leading IT strategy, policy and administration of the technology infrastructure, enterprise and information systems for the division. He was chosen after a national search driven by a committee of IT stakeholders from across campus as well as Campus Enterprises directors.
“Chris’s technical expertise and the strategic vision that he shared with the committee and others participating in the interview process brought him forward in a very competitive field,” said Rich Berlin, associate vice chancellor. “He was the best choice for this exciting new role.”
As Wolfpack One Card director of operations, Dunham provided technical support and expertise to the systems associated with on-campus transactions. In his new role, he will oversee the managers of the card office and website. Other IT-related staff transitions and partnerships will be determined once he begins to develop the division’s IT strategy.
“I see an amazing opportunity to build on current practices to streamline data processes and leverage technology for the betterment of our organization,” Dunham said. “There will be a lot of work ahead, but I am ready for the challenge. I look forward to working with the entire division to make Campus Enterprises a national example of how to best use technology in auxiliary services.”
