NC State Dining and Wolfpack Outfitters have partnered to bring a new convenience destination to Centennial Campus. Centennial Market, located in the former Wolfpack Outfitters space at Wolf Ridge, will open August 19 and offer a curated selection of grab-and-go meals, snacks, beverages, school supplies and NC State-branded apparel.
The idea for the reimagined space came directly from students. Feedback from surveys and student focus groups revealed a need for a late-night option that combines food with essentials such as school supplies and spirit gear, particularly for those living or studying on Centennial Campus.
Centennial Market will be open daily from noon to midnight, offering convenient access to a wide variety of products:
- Grab-and-go meals, including cold sandwiches, salads, snacks and heat-and-eat options
- Frozen meals and novelties, including Howling Cow pints
- Soft drinks, sparkling water, enhanced and isotonic drinks, energy and protein beverages and juices
- Candy, gum, protein bars and both individual and shareable options
- International snacks curated by Lipari
In addition to food, the market will carry a selection of NC State-branded apparel, notebooks, pens, chargers and other engineering and textiles supplies, providing a one-stop shop for student essentials.
“Student input played a critical role in shaping this concept,” said Rich Berlin, associate vice chancellor for Campus Enterprises. “Student engagement with and collaboration between NC State Dining and Wolfpack Outfitters will bring food options, extended hours and convenience to Centennial Market, enhancing campus life for the Centennial Campus community.”
Centennial Market will accept multiple payment methods, including Dining Dollars, All Campus, Payroll Deduction and credit cards. NC State is a cashless campus.
