Measures of Success
Employees will be rated on a scale of 1 to 3 for each of the following measures of success. A score of 1 indicates that an employee is not meeting expectations. A score of 2 means meeting expectations. A 3 means exceeding expectations.
Quality of Work
How well do you perform your job duties? Do you take initiative with ease or do you mill around waiting for instruction, not knowing what to do next? Quality of work deals with how knowledgeable you are on your position.
Accountability
In customer service, you need to be accountable. We need to trust you will be responsible and follow the rules of their workplace, Campus Enterprises, and the university. You must be able to use your judgement to be accountable so that your unit knows you can be reliable.
Customer-Orientated
How well do you communicate with customers? Do you greet them warmly or shy away? Customer service is a large part of Campus Enterprises and thus is important for you to learn. We want all customers feeling comfortable in our units and much of that relies on how you and your teammates react to customers.
Team-Oriented
You must be able to function on a team. Being able to collaborate and negotiate in order to reach a goal is the best way to ensure success in your job. Not only is this skill important for your job currently, but you will need to be team-oriented for future jobs as well. This is especially true for anyone seeking leadership roles.
Compliance and Integrity
Employees in Campus Enterprises need to comply with the guidelines set for them by Campus Enterprises and the unit they work for. You also must have the integrity to follow through with them and be able to handle situations where someone is not abiding by the same rules. Without these values we cannot tell the difference between right and wrong.
Supervision
This topic is for employees with supervisory responsibility only. This is to examine how well you are able to lead and educate your team. It’s a rating on how well the unit runs as a result of you overlooking operations and managing your team.
