The latest restaurant to join the Talley lineup of dining options — 1887 Bistro — will open in Talley Student Union on Monday, September 21, 2015.

887 Bistro will help meet two remaining needs in the Union: a fine-dining option for weekday lunch and a late-evening gathering spot to commune over shareable appetizers, flatbreads and desserts.
Serving lunch weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 1887 Bistro will feature a menu that combines refined taste with Southern tradition. Lunch guests will have their choice of fresh salads layered in mason jars, smoked beef brisket sandwiches, pork belly BLT, flatbreads, coffee-rubbed beef medallions, and many more items to please the palette.
1887 Bistro will re-open from 9 p.m. to midnight Sunday – Thursday with a menu of appetizers and desserts that are easily shareable, yet tempting to keep all to yourself. Options include buffalo chicken dip, pork belly sliders, firecracker shrimp, chimichurri steak skewers, Southwest eggrolls and more.
Not to be outdone, NC State Dining’s award-winning bakery has taken the lead on creating special desserts as well. House-made crostada (served piping hot) and a flight of lemon mousse, Grand Marnier creme brulee and hazelnut pot de creme offer delectable options for guests with a sweet tooth.
The restaurant accepts Dining Dollars and AllCampus funds. Cash, credit and debit are also accepted. Students with meal plans will receive an $8.50 Meal Credit at the late-night meal period.
1887 will also be a prime destination for special events in Talley Student Union. This dynamic space is a perfect spot for anythin
g from culinary demonstrations, food lectures or receptions, and can be reserved for afternoon and early evening events. Rave! Event Services provides customized menus for any event from our award-winning NC State NC State Dining team.
