NC State Dining announces the addition of two beloved North Carolina culinary institutions to its campus offerings: La Farm Bakery and Mediterranean Deli & Catering. Beginning in fall 2025, students, faculty and staff will be able to enjoy fresh, authentic fare from both restaurants at central campus locations.

available in Park Shops
La Farm Bakery, a Cary-based artisan bakery, will bring its award-winning breads, pastries and coffee to Park Shops. La Farm will occupy the space currently held by Port City Java, offering the campus community an experience rooted in French baking traditions and locally sourced, nutrient-dense flours. Breakfast items will include savory breakfast sandwiches, crème brûlée French toast and more. Lunch will include signature dishes like the Croque Madame, quiches, avocado toast, nutritious salads and gourmet sandwiches.
Mediterranean Deli & Catering will be located in the Atrium Food Court. This Chapel Hill favorite serves Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, including shawarma, gyros and falafel, plus more than 40 different salads, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

will feature a deli case packed full of delicious options
“These additions reflect our continued commitment to providing diverse, high-quality food options that reflect both the tastes and values of our campus community,” said Shawn Hoch, senior director of hospitality services. “We’re excited to welcome La Farm Bakery and Mediterranean Deli — two North Carolina staples — to NC State.”
To accommodate the new eatery, NC State Dining will renovate the Atrium’s serving area during summer 2025. Mediterranean Deli will replace current concepts Delirious and Union 51.
